Foundational Issues and Concepts/ Worship as Art
(day one and two of Worship and Art cluster)
June 15-16
You may register any of these workshops individually, or participate in all of them as part of
“Worship and Art”.
In this workshop the language of the arts will guide reflections about worship. Participants will practice designing worship experiences for their congregations that engage techniques arising out of arts traditions and that are consistent with contemporary communication patterns: multi-sensory, narrative, visual and participatory. Current shifts in Protestant worship renewal will give form to these two-day sessions. First day: 10am-9pm. Second day: 8:30am-4:30pm. $225 includes lunch both days, dinner the first day, and breakfast the second day.
