This Celtic Knot Stole is created in the tradition of the now popular Celtic braidwork, symbolic of life’s journey and continuity. Celtic patterns attempt to make sense of the maze of existence and provide a pathway to the divine – much like a labyrinth. The continuous thread used in such work is appropriate for the Advent season, as we ponder the complex threads of our own lives in preparation for the coming of Christ. Available also in red, white, purple and green ST8070 $185

Both Christmas, Easter and the weeks following both follow the white liturgical seasonal colors. Be sure to look at other stoles that – while not completely white – are consistent with Christmas and Easter themes. (ex. The Stories of Christmas under Story Stoles; Growth and Rebirth under Green Seasonal)
The most common Tartan stole we make is from the Clergy Tartan (center blue), however we have access to almost 600 different tartan plaids, so let us know which plaid is special to you and we will make it into a stole. Order your stole with a denominational logo or celtic cross, or without any symbol. Symbols are made from ultrasuede for a classic appearance.

The tantra art form in which it is laid out has, for hundreds of years, supported meditative ritual. Here In Stitches offers this lovely example of ancient embroidery for Easter, springtime, and “ordinary time” use.
